DESCRIPTION:It’s here: The Fire and Ice Winter Festival that celebrates everything White Pine County offers during the winter months. \nThe community wide festival will once again have multiple events throughout the area for people of all ages. Locations include Nevada Northern Railway\, Cave Lake State Park\, Downtown businesses\, and Ward Mtn Recreation Area. DESCRIPTION:Where can you see fireworks shot off a moving steam train? Only in Ely! The Fireworks Express at the Nevada Northern Railway leaves the Depot at 4:30 p.m. January 18th.  Fireworks are set off after nightfall.  Get your ‘front row’ seats to the fireworks.
