DESCRIPTION:Turkey Vulture Stretch 5k 2026\nWelcome spring and the turkey vultures back to Ely\, with the Turkey Vulture Stretch 5k 2026. Every March\, the turkey vultures return to Ely after a relaxing winter in South America.  This run is to honor these not-so-pretty birds and welcome them and spring back to Ely! \nThis year\, the route is at Steptoe Park. You might even have a chance of seeing a turkey vulture with its wings outstretched in a tree. \nMedals will be awarded to the top 3 female\, top 3 male\, top 3 kids (10 yrs and younger)\, and top 3 seniors (55+).
