DESCRIPTION:Sagebrush Quilt Show\nThe Sagebrush Quilt Show will be having their annual show the first weekend in August and this year with promises to be bigger and better. These talented women have been working all year preparing for the guild’s yearly show. The show opens Friday at 9:00 am to 6:00 pm\, and Saturday 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. A regular “Show n’ Tell” is daily at noon for the quilters and visitors. Bring in your quilts with their stories to share! Admission is $3.00 (except for children under 10\, who receive free admission). What more could you want? \nThe White Pine Rodders Car club is a not-for-profit organization for the car enthusiast. They have a devoted passion for cars  and classics alike.  As a club\, they each year raise money for  scholarships available to White Pine High School seniors to further  their post-secondary education. \nThe car club is open  for all makes and models including motorcycles. Primarily composed of hotrods\, classics and muscle cars from the ’40  thru the ’80s.  Members go on cruises attending shows displaying their  cars\, showcasing rolling works of art and speaking with other cars  fans. \nThey may not have as many cars as Seinfeld or Leno\, but\, between all of their members\, they have a diverse exciting collection. DESCRIPTION:Bristlecone Birkebeiner Winterfest\nThe Bristlecone Birkebeiner is a multi-sport winter event at the Ward Mountain Recreation Area\, North Trailhead held on January 15th. Event options are cross-country ski\, snowshoe\, or fat tire bike!\nThe Cross-country Ski Long Course will traverse the Birkebeiner Loop (D Loop). The Cross-country Ski Short Course and Snowshoe Course will follow the Connector Trail to the Birkebeiner Loop. The Kids Ski course is an out-and-back on the Shelter Connector Trail. And the Fat Tire Bike course is a loop using the Birkebeiner Loop\, Atta Boy Loop\, and Revenue Loop Trails.\n\n \n\n\nSchedule of Events:\n8:00 am – Long Course Cross-country Ski – $40\n8:10 am – Short Course Cross-country Ski – $30\n8:30 am – Fat Tire Bike – $40\n8:35 am – Snowshoe – $30\n9:30 am – Kids Cross Country Ski – $15\n\nWeather is unpredictable in Ely. Sometimes there is enough snow\, sometimes there is barely enough snow\, or sometimes there is none! If there isn’t enough snow\, their will be a Long and Short Course Trail Run\, and a Kids Trail Run that follows the same trails as the cross-country ski events. And there will be a fat tire/mountain bike event that will follow the same route as the fat tire route.\n\nNot-enough-snow Schedule of Events:\n8:00 am – Mountain bike/Fat Tire – $40\n8:05 am – Long Course Trail Run – $40\n8:10 am – Short Course Trail Run – $30\n9:30 am – Kids Trail Run – $15\n\nMedals will be awarded as following:\nLong Course Ski/Trail Run – top three male & top three female\nShort Course Ski/Trail Run – top three male & top three female\nKids Course Ski/Trail Run – top three kids\nSnowshoe Course- top three\nFat Tire Bike/Mountain Bike Course – top three\n\nIf you register for a snow or a no-snow event and weather doesn’t cooperate in your favor\, we will provide a refund (minus Active.com transaction fee) towards another EOE event.\nWe are working closely with the Bureau of Land Management for trail grooming before the event.
