DESCRIPTION:Swim-A-Thon for Veteran’s\n*This Swim-A-Thon for Veteran’s is committed to taking any and all necessary steps to maintain the health and safety of both our Guests and Team Members*\nSupport a great local cause by sponsoring and supporting Cyndi Thompson during her Swim-A-Thon\, which will benefit Nevada Veteran’s on July 2nd. This is the second of an annual event\, and we hope to raise awareness for this event for more participants to join next year! This year however\, Cyndi will be swimming a 5k solo at the White Pine Aquatic’s Center from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. She is looking for sponsorships. All fundraiser proceeds will go toward the American Legion WP Post 3 to support transportation and general costs of sending local Veterans on their Honor Flight through Honor Flight Southern Nevada. \nHonor Flight Southern Nevada is a non-profit (501c3) organization with the mission of escorting World War II\, Korean War and Vietnam War Veterans to the memorials in Washington D.C.\, which are dedicated to the sacrifices they made for our freedom. \nContact Cyndi at 307-254-3076 or cthomp2015@yahoo.com to sponsor\, or to even sign up to participate and swim in next year’s Swim-A-Thon! This 2021 White Pine Gymkhana Series event dates are June 12th\, July 17th\, and September 5th. \nSign-ups are at 8:00 a.m. and the event begins at 9:00 a.m. Payout are at each series event.
