With over 18 years of teaching experience\, my passion is helping people of all ages and backgrounds discover the power of movement\, breath\, and mindfulness. \n🧘‍♂️ My Background\nI’ve had the honor of working with students of all levels—from absolute beginners to seasoned athletes and seniors. My teaching style draws from multiple yoga traditions including Vinyasa Flow\, Hatha\, Yin\, Ashtanga\, and Ratha Yoga. I was trained in New York City in 2004 under the very humble and legendary Dharma Mittra\, completing my 200-hour certification in traditional yogic teachings. \nIn every class\, I incorporate Pranayama (breath work) and meditation\, blending movement and stillness to support both physical and mental well-being. I also utilize yoga props to ensure comfort and alignment for every body and ability. \nYoga is a lifelong journey—one that continues to evolve and inspire me daily. Whether we’re practicing indoors or out under the sky\, I strive to create a space that’s welcoming\, accessible\, and empowering. I encourage my students to challenge themselves as well as making the practice playful at the same time. Before moving to Ely\, I spent several years teaching classes on the beaches and in the parks of Imperial Beach\, California. Outdoor yoga still holds a special place in my heart! \n🌟 Tips for a Great Practice\nPractice on an empty stomach:\n⏱ 4 hours after heavy food\n⏱ 2 hours after a light meal\n⏱ 10–15 minutes after drinking liquids \nBe patient with yourself.
