DESCRIPTION:Sagebrush Social Disc Golf Tournament\nDo you like disc golf? Do you consider yourself social? Are you a giving and caring person? Well then the Sagebrush Social Disc Golf Tournament at the Ward Mountain Disc Golf Course September 23\, 2023 is the event for you! And don’t worry; even if your skills are sub-par\, you’re as introverted as a baby turtle\, and fundraisers make you cringe harder than when someone says Nevada wrong and instead they say “Nevawduh”\, you are still more than welcome! \n$40 a Player: Call us at (775) 289-3720\, 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.\, Monday through Friday to register your team. YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE THE EVENT. There will be no “Day Of” Registration. DESCRIPTION:Race the Rails 2023\nThe steam locomotive and the bicycle were invented nearly 10 years apart. Both changed the way we travel\, but which will prevail on September 9th at the Race The Rails? At the sound of the train whistle\, mountain and road bikers race to see who can get back to the depot before the train. \nMountain bikers test their speed and agility on a challenging 10 mile course through the beautiful mountains surrounding Ely\, while road bikers prove their speed and endurance on a 25 mile course along roads and highways in the area. Everyone who finishes the course will receive a finisher’s medal. \nThis is not a regular race against time\, or your fellow riders. It’s a race against one of histories most powerful inventions!
