DESCRIPTION:Third Annual Swim-A-Thon for Veterans\nSupport a great local cause by sponsoring and supporting Cyndi Thompson during her Swim-A-Thon\, which will benefit Nevada Veteran’s on July 2nd. This is the third of an annual event\, with this year benefitting Nevada and Utah Veterans. \nNew to this year is sign-ups and participation! Anyone who wants to participate and swim alongside Cyndi this year can! \nCyndi will be swimming a 5k solo at the White Pine Aquatic’s Center from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. As always\, Cyndi is always looking for sponsorships. All fundraiser proceeds will go toward the Fisher House Foundation to support Fisher Houses in Salt Lake City\, Utah and Las Vegas\, Nevada. \nFisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge\, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. DESCRIPTION:Calling all who bike\, swim\, and run for fun! The second Sky High Triathlon is ready for anyone up for the challenge. There are individual and relay races\, all at intermediate and beginner levels. \nThe intermediate races include a 400 yard swim\, 12 mile bike\, and 3 mile run\, while beginners can look forward to 200 yard swim\, 3 mile bike\, and 1 mile run. All distances start at 7:30 a.m. \n \nAnd\, of course\, don’t forget the Tiny Tikes triathlon (ages 4-10) for the 50 yard swim\, bike around the building\, and run around the parking lot at 10:00 a.m.
