DESCRIPTION:3rd Annual Fezziwig Ball\nCelebrate proper Christmas cheer in the absolute best fashion at the 3rd Annual Fezziwig Ball! \nThis party of the season takes place on December 13th\, 6pm-10pm with the halls of the Centennial Fine Arts Building fully decked. \nFezziwig is a character from Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol. As Scrooge’s old boss\, Fezziwig is meant to depict the absolute opposite of the well-known Christmas crank. Jolly\, giving\, and full of life\, Fezziwig adored the holiday season and threw his very own Christmas Ball every year. The Ghost of Christmas Past takes Scrooge back to one of these parties where he sees himself as a young man\, in love with Christmas and having the best time. \nA page straight out of the book\, this year’s Centennial Fine Arts’ Fezziwig Ball is meant to capture the same jovial magic. \nPeriod costume attire encouraged! Think Dickensian\, mid-19th century garb. What is most important is that you have fun! This is the most wonderful time of the year\, after all. \nLook forward to the Elderblossoms performing. A live five-piece band\, they will be providing the ambience and music for the evening. \nTickets are $50 per person. One ticket includes your food\, drinks\, and more! \nTickets can be purchased at Economy Drug\, the White Pine Chamber of Commerce\, and the Bristlecone Convention Center. \nDiscover all the ways to bring in the Holiday Season in Ely and White Pine HERE!\n\nThis Event is put on by the White Pine Community Choir Association. DESCRIPTION:Spike McGuire Album Release Tour\nEarlier this year\, Spike McGuire received a grant from the Nevada Arts Council and the National Endowment For The Arts to record a live solo album. The record officially releases on Nevada Day and this is one of six release shows taking place at historic venues across the state.\n\nJoining McGuire in this musical celebration will be special guests Greg Gilmore and Rachael McElhiney.\n\nTickets are $10. For tickets please call (775) 289 3720\nAll ticket sales go toward supporting the Centennial Fine Arts Building and will aid in the repairs necessary to preserve the historic landmark.\n\nThe show is ALL AGES. Doors open at 6:30 pm\, with the show starting at 7 pm.
