Come join the White Pine Community in McGill to celebrate McGill’s Annual Labor Day weekend.
We will be kicking off the festivities with a parade on Main Street. Line up for the parade will be behind the McGill grade school at 5:30 p.m. . The parade will start at 4th and Avenue G and go to 4th and Avenue K where the street dance will begin. There will be locals selling food! The McGill volunteer fire department will have a full bar set up for your enjoyment. Please drink responsibly. The street dance will go from 6:30 p.m. to 11 pm.
Saturday at the McGill Swimming Pool there will be the annual “Big Splash” town barbecue starting at 11 a.m. The McGill town council has provided free hot dogs and hamburgers for the community . We will also have vendor booths, a bounce house for all kids to enjoy and other activities. Please remember the McGill Swimming Pool is free and they have they’re big splash for the end of summer with all kind of games for children.
Sunday starting at 4:00 p.m. at the McGill baseball park we will have our softball game McGill fire department vs White Pine County Sheriff’s Office. There is a $2 gate fee all proceeds will go to the MRA for the ballpark fund. Fireworks will be provided by Great Basin Pyrotechnics at 9 p.m. at the McGill ballpark. We hope to see you all there!
