Modified Tees / Players 50 – 59 May Play White Tees
Players 60 – 69 May Play Yellow Tees
Players 70 & Up May Play Red Tees
Players with a Single Digit Handicap regardless of age may play no further forward than White Tees
This is a 36 hole 2 person Memorial Day Golf Tournament. Pick your own partner. First 9 holes will be played as a scramble, second nine holes will be modified scotch, third nine holes will be a best ball and the last 9 holes will be a two-person total net. $200.00 added money from WPMGA. Net payoff. Play two rounds over three days. Must play with at least two other members. Must declare days you are playing in advance. $20.00 Entry. See Clubhouse for details.
First 9 Holes: The Front Nine Holes Will Be Played As A Scramble (Three Drives Per Player Required). Both Players Will Tee Off, Select The Best Drive And Hit The Second Shot From That Point, Select The Best Shot And Hit From That Point, And So On (Within One Club Length In The Fairway, And Within 6” On The Putting Surface, No Nearer The Hole In Either Case), Until The Ball Is Holed. Handicaps Will Be Based On 50% Of Lower Handicap and 30% Of Higher Handicap.
Second 9 Holes: The Back Nine Will Be Played As A Modified Scotch. Both Players Will Tee Off And The Best Drive Will Be Selected (Three Drives Per Player Required). The Player Whose Ball Was Not Chosen Will Hit The Second Shot. Players Shall Alternate Shots From That Point Forward Until The Ball Is Holed. The Ball Will Be Played Down, And You May Not Improve Your Lie. Handicaps Will Be Based On 20% Of Team Handicap.
Third 9 Holes: The Front Nine Holes Will Be Played As Best Ball. Both Players Will Play Their Own Ball From Tee Thru Green And Record Both Gross Scores On The Scorecard. The Tournament Committee Will Handicap Both Scores And Select The Best Score. The Ball Will Be Played Down, And You May Not Improve Your Lie. Handicaps Will Be Based On 100% of Individual Low Index. Fourth 9 Holes: The Back Nine Will Be Played As A Two–Ball Total. Both Players Will Play Their Own Ball From Tee Thru Green And Record Both Gross Scores On The Scorecard. The Tournament Committee Will Handicap Both Scores. The Ball Will Be Played Down, And You May Not Improve Your Lie. Handicaps Will Be Based On 100% of Individual Low Index.
