Join Gretchen Baker, Ecologist at Great Basin National Park, for her presentation The Majestic Bristlecone: Tales of Perseverance on April 18th at the White Pine Public Museum.
Discover how these remarkable trees (only recognized as their own species in the 1960s) persist in a harsh environment through their tough life cycle. Learn how trees have been cored to discover their age and enjoy beautiful photos of bristlecone pines. A question and answer period will follow the presentation.
