Third Annual Swim-A-Thon for Veterans

Support a great local cause by sponsoring and supporting Cyndi Thompson during her Swim-A-Thon, which will benefit Nevada Veteran’s on July 2nd. This is the third of an annual event, with this year benefitting Nevada and Utah Veterans.

New to this year is sign-ups and participation! Anyone who wants to participate and swim alongside Cyndi this year can!

Cyndi will be swimming a 5k solo at the White Pine Aquatic’s Center from 7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. As always, Cyndi is always looking for sponsorships. All fundraiser proceeds will go toward the Fisher House Foundation to support Fisher Houses in Salt Lake City, Utah and Las Vegas, Nevada.

Fisher House Foundation builds comfort homes where military and veteran families can stay free of charge, while a loved one is in the hospital. These homes are located at military and VA medical centers around the world. The Ficher House Foundation, Inc., a not-for-profit organization under section 501(c)(3) of the IRS code, builds new houses and assists in the coordination of private support while coordination of private support while encouraging public support for the homes.
